During the February 2012 Master Naturalist training session, Patricia Lane Evans captured some images of the release of a Snowy Owl in the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge (PRNWR). One of those photos won a First Prize Blue Ribbon in the 2012 Photographic Society of Parker River Wildlife Refuge Camera Club Photo Contest.

She also won two prizes in the recent 2013 Photographic Society of Parker River Wildlife Refuge Camera Club Photo Contest. Her two entries, one photo taken with an iPhone, won Second Place and Third Place in the Point & Shoot - Landscape Category. All winning photos are on exhibit at the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center until November 2014.

Patricia's photo of a home on Eden Road in Rockport was on display in the new Canon Gallery at Hunt's Photo Shop during the month of November 2013, one of 16 Judges Choice winners in Hunt's "Eye on Architecture" Photo Contest.
